[SoX-users] Print Amplitude and Silence Durations

Is there a way to get the duration of given amplitude, and the
duration of the following "silence" below that level, then the next
above the level etc?

I need to analyze a speech file for lip-syncing animation. I need to
detect the duration of speech and silence so the characters lips open
and close. (I looked at the Papagayo lip-sync app, but it doesn't help
me in this situation). The result needs to be in time units of at most
0.5s, but 0.25s would be more precise.
