I'm on a quest to install SoX with as many codecs, etc on a Linux box as I can. There is an obvious relation of Sun Audio to Sun hardware, but in the interest of building a complete file translation service, can the sun libraries be built on other architectures? My recollection is that Sun audio files are labeled as .ao. I have installed libao. Is that enough? If it is possible to create Sun audio libraries (aside from libao)? Is source code available for compliation? I looked at hte openSolaris.org site, but that seems that you would be building under openSol, not Linux. Thanks for any info Neil M -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Sun-Audio-install--tp15615341p15615341.html Sent from the SoX mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
