hey all we talked on the sprint about a move from sourceforge to berlios as hosting platform for all sotf-related stuff. the reason is mainly bad performance on cvs and the webinterface itself. please have a look on http://developer.berlios.de. it's more or less the same interface (little design changes) and uses the same features like sf.net. speed and performance is much better. this move should not change anything in the running cvs-installations. we would move the hole cvs into the cvs from berlios. this should work for all running cvs-installations. as a second step we could move from cvs to svn. of'course _after_ intensivly testing the migration-steps for cvs-driven running nodes ;)) please reply soon on this topic. we would like to decide it during this week. .:js -- strg.at design > development > server http://strg.at of...@st... stollgasse 8/5, 1070 wien tel +43 1 526 56 29 fax +43 1 526 56 49 |
