Skorpion OS is a privacy-focused, AI-native Linux distribution based on Debian Trixie, built for developers, privacy enthusiasts, and normal users who want local artificial intelligence as a core part of their operating system.
At its heart is SKAI (Skorpion AI), a fully offline AI subsystem powered by Ollama and the qwen2.5:14b language model. No cloud. No telemetry. Your data never leaves your machine.
The system is built around a minimal i3 window manager environment with Kitty terminal and a cohesive dark aesthetic throughout. The included SkAi Firefox extension brings local AI directly into your browser, while Olly — a natural language CLI file manager — lets you interact with your filesystem using plain language powered by the local LLM.
