That's indeed a PDFKit problem (might be fixed in Leopard). It's also an important reason why we don't save this kind of things. Also as for Adobe reader, I think only the Adobe Pro can really save while keeping things editable. As we don't handle the editing, I wonder if we could ever warn the user tha= t we don't save it.
