Dear Christian
Thanks for an awesome software, best PDF reader on macOS, can't live without :)
Would it be possible to either:
1/ show two-pages side by side in Presentation mode?
2/ or navigate in twop-page mode with left and right click, similar to Presentation mode?
Rationale: I am using macOS's accesssibility face expression recognition. It works great but only allows to click left and right -- it does not allow sending keypress events, only mouse clicks. This feature would allow to browse the pages of a book. Would be very useful for any pianist! Thank you :)
No, that is not possible.
Presentation is a very specific interaction mode, and limited in what you can do, for good reasons. Allowing all kind of customization negates the basic function of it. Navigation through mouse clickes is possible precisely because it is so limited, and mouse clicks have no other function there.
Page navigation is (mostly) implemented by Apple's PDFKit. Mouse clicks have all kinds of different functions. So they cannot have different functions at the same time.
Ah well, was worth asking. I'll make do by creating new PDFs with two pages side by side on each page, and using presentation mode for that.
