#1658 Search for words in proximity
One thing that I often think would come in handy is to be able to search for a set of words that are not more than say 30 characters apart from each other. For example, I want to find occurrences of the words "resistor" and "capacitor" when they are in the same sentence or subsequent sentences. This should match for example the sentence "Resistors, inductors and capacitors are three basic passive elements found in electronic circuits", but it would not match "The resistor is a passive element, but it it not lossless" (provided the word capacitor is not in a nearby sentence).

The actual search is performed by Apple's PDFKit. We can only pass some options, like case sensitivity. There is no option available to search words by proximity.
Perhaps it's possible to filter the results returned by PDFKit?
That is not really feasible. It is not filitering results, it is getting results by association of different results. That would become too complicated. Also as the proximaty information is not really available.
