Can the value of (splitter of splitter group 1 of window 1) be made writeable from AppleScript?
BTW the exact feature of making the property writable is not possible as this is provided by Apple, not by us.
However you can open and close the pane using UI scripting, as this is accessible from the menu.
No this is not a worthwhile thing to do. We could control anything in the UI but we shouldn't.
