#1379 Text selection in both split-view areas

Hi,

it seems that I am not the first one who needs the text selection in the second pane for copying the references. What is the reason for not providing it? If it is only possible to have selection functionality in one pane it would be ok for me to have a "switch cursor into other pane" function.

Thank you for your excellent piece of software which I use every day :-)

The main reason is that it would prevent other actions, such as scrolling by dragging.
