After OCRing any PDF document using Adobe Acrobat Pro, I find that the first word on every page cannot be selected (or highlighted) in Skim, although in Acrobat Pro I can select these words without issue.
Selection is done by PDFKit. There must be something wrong with the OCR as well. Anyway, it is out of our reach.
