In the French localisation, one of the menu items in the PDF menu :
Use current settings as defaults for full-screen mode
has been translated into an even longer string :
Utiliser les réglages actuels par défaut pour le mode plein écran.
The sheer width of the menu makes it quite tricky to go into the PDF display mode submenu without inadvertently closing it and opening the adjacent "Go" or "Tools" menus.
a) Use shorter translations, such as "Réglages actuels par défaut (plein écran)" for the full-screen item title and "Réglages actuels par défaut" for the non-full-screen item title.
b) Move the items in the submenu up a level and remove the submenu
c) Add a couple of buttons controlling the display mode to the toolbar or to the full screen controller (which would be a nice feature anyway).

Very minor issue.
a) would be wrong, as it does not clearly specify whether it stores or uses the default settings.
b) would make too long a menu
c) would be irrelevant and against the HIG, as toolbar items should also be in the items and toolbar items can be removed by the users.
