#1232 cant move lines in High Sierra
I just moved to a new computer running High sierra. When I create a line (blue arrow) and try to move it afterwards, it doesn't move but instead there seems to be an invisible window of view of the size of the arrow that is moved so that the arrow becomes invisible.
Is this only a matter of display? Is the line moved if you force a
redisplay (by changing some view settings and perhaps pages) after moving?
I see it now. the line is not moved, only its bounds is moved. This is very wrong, but it is a bug in the system. Apple needs to fix this, its own history and documentation says this is wrong. In the meantime, perhaps we can work around this, but it is extremely cumbersome.
Reported the bug to Apple.
Fortunately I found a workaround for the bug, so this will work in the next release.
