The laggy scrolling bug is back in 1.4.24, although it was fixed in 1.4.23. There was a bug in 1.4.23 with the cursors and elements appearing behind the Toolbar, which was fixed in 1.4.24, but also brought back an older bug. The workaround of setting the PDF to Single Page and back to Single Page Continous fixes the issue like in previous versions.

Yes, I know. This really is an Apple bug. It is completely unacceptable that PDFView does not work properly in non-window-filling content, as it apparently is. I have reported this to Apple, and they need to fix this.

Yes, the scrolling problem is back. As was pointed out in another thread, you have to manually toggle the view mode (I toggle between single page view and continuous scroll) to get smooth scrolling.

Till Apple fixes the bug, is there any temporary fix in the code that, understandably, may not be 'how things should be'? I use Texshop for writing latex files and the associated PDF viewer works great, even shows link previews when hovering over them.
