All of the segmented control toolbar items are being clipped at the top on 10.11 (and probably 10.10 as well). This is most clearly visible with the "Increase contrast" accessibility option turned on, which is how I use the system due to eyestrain issues with the default configuration. I've attached a screenshot showing the problem; I can't exactly figure out why this is happening though. If I change the size of the segmented control to Small from Normal, it looks fine; if I just arbitrarily increase the size of every toolbar item in the SKToolbarItem setViewWithSizes method, it also looks fine. There must be a simple answer, but it's a mystery to me.

Incredible! apple should really not do this, they should not change control sizes between OS versions, because that makes it impossible to support more than one version. This is really unacceptable. It is also not possible for us to fix that, this really is an Apple bug.

I have filed a radar for this (23322589) with a simplified sample project.

Would you be willing to take a workaround patch that increases the height of toolbar items containing segmented controls?

Luckily I found a workaround for this OS compatibility problem. So this will be fixed in the next release.
