If there are some attachments like word / Excel or
netscape mails, these are not readable. Double
clicking on these attached files have only one option
i.e save as. One more option can be given for opening
these files.
Version 8 added 2 additional choices for attachments, in addition to SAVE.
The first is OPEN (can also be accomplished by double-clicking the
attachment in 8,0,3a) to directly open the attachment directly into the
appropriate application. The attachment is temporarily stored in a
temporary directory depending on the version of Windows.
The second is "SAVE & OPEN" which allows you to save the attachment into
the directory of your choice and then opens it into the appropriate
application. This options saves extra navigation steps and time.
