I think it's not good if Internet Explorer is used for the HTML view by default.
Instead, Simplecheck should use the default browser (e.g. Firefox, Opera, Netscape) to preview HTML mails.
At least links from this preview window should open in the default browser and not Internet Explorer.
This is a security risk too.
Keep on the good work.

When using a browser, SimpleCheck only opens an HTML formated text. It doesn't saves attachements for the browser to open. So, it is not too bad.
I agree it would be better to open a default browser, and I thought it was doing just that. Apparently not. Let me know, if you know how to do it correctly?
Thanks.

Yes, I agree about the attachments but HTML can contains malicious code (e.g. buffer overflows, etc.)
So if HTML preview is opened in an unpatched internet explorer this means a security risk... at least to me :)
Unfortunately I am not a programmer but I'll try to help out where I can.
