I downloaded the latest version (8.0.2) and it still does not work with pop servers on port 995. This was reported in ID: 1313618 on 2005-10-05 02:46:16 MDT. Will it ever be fixed?

Port 995 is tcp/udp pop3s pop3 protocol over TLS/SSL (was spop3).

The Advanced/Encryption/Authorization features are dated and part of the MIME routines inherited from the original versions of SimpleCheck. The MIME routines are scheduled for a replacement/update by the end of summer in version 8.1. This will allow SimpleCheck to have several new capabilities, including TLS/SSL.

Version 8.1 which will be released in 2012 will have new MIME routines that will allow access to secure E-Mail as well as IMAP that should resolve this issue.
