#53 Please make a new release of sidplay-libs

Its' been two years since 2.1.1 was released and
the source no longer compiles on current compilers.
That's bit-rot, please release a new package with the
stuff in CVS (which I think is quite OK.)

Ok, I'll try :). Was waiting on comments from the gentoo
people about bugs they have posted and we were working through.

Also I have one outstanding piece of work that I do not know
how to do. How does one open (or deal with) an application
that requires stdin but is in the background. Sidplay2
pretty much hangs as either the stdin open blocks or using
ctrl-z/fg causes the keyboard processing loop to die. Note
this is under Linux

All thoughts or pointers to usefull code welcome.

Hehe more than a year since you said that Simon,
so I'm reopening the bug :-)

I got sidplay-libs and sidplay2 running on x86_64
perfectly, however I couldn't use CVS snapshots or
the like, I used the Debian patches to make it work.
Are all the Debian patches upstream? I.e. these:
