SGL (and fltlib) v0.7.0 Released

SGL is a scene graph API which manages all the data needed to render a 3D scene. One of its goals is to achieve greater efficiency by performing state sorting and culling before rendering with OpenGL.

This is a long awaited release that adds many new features and fixes a number of bugs. Read the Changelog for more details (also note that fltlib v0.7.0 has been release simultaneously with an open license).... read more

SGL v0.6.0 Released

SGL is a scene graph API which manages all the data needed to render a 3D scene. One of its goals is to achieve greater efficiency by performing state sorting and culling before rendering with OpenGL.

This release adds reference counting capability to the geometry data (coords, normals, colors, and texture coordinates). It also contains some bug fixes and performance improvements.

SGL v0.5.1 Released

SGL is a scene graph API which manages all the data needed to render a 3D scene. One of its goals is to achieve greater efficiency by performing state sorting and culling before rendering with OpenGL.

This release fixes a number of bugs, improves the capabilities of the FLT loader, and improves the intersect/pick traversals.
