PLEASE KEEP ORIGINAL LAYOUT OF LANGUAGE FILE. It also means that
the number of lines in translation file must be equal to the number of lines in original en.ttt file.

To locate new lines (new lines in updated version of en.ttt), you can open two copies of Notepad with same windows size and switch between them.

Please write why you think that this translation is better than current version in 17.00.

First of all, because it was the "official" one until the v17.00, starting with the early versions, edited by Leandro Spagnol.

People who have used 7-Zip for the last fifteen years, up to v16.xx, have always been accustomed to these strings.
An example is that in Italian foreign words (for example, "file", in English), when they are represented in the plural do not EVER take the "s" at the end, remaining unchanged:

Eng: "1 file, many files"
Ita: "1 file, molti file"

Eng: "1 link, many links"
Ita: "1 link, molti link" (better: "1 archivio, molti archivi")

The other translation contains several cases of this type of error.

In addition, it was done by completely altering the previous one that I updated, without any kind of confrontation or contact from the other proposer.

I don't know what translation is better.
Can you check what words are used in Italian versions of Windows?
For example, check "Continue" button in Windows, if you can find it.
We have two different versions:
1) Riprendi
2) Continua
So what is more correct?

Hello Igor,

Corsican translation has been updated. Apostrophe signs, suspension points and quotation marks have been modified and unnecessary uppercases removed. Some minor changes on menu entries and keyboard shortcuts were checked on latest version 19.00.

Hello Igor,

Please find attached the updated Corsican localization for 7-Zip.

In addition to modifying several strings, the main changes concern the locale ponctuation rules such as adding an unbreakable space before all semicolons as well as question marks.

I see that you changed another lines.
For example, you have changed File menu
from Fichero to Archivo.
Do you have Spanish Windows?
What is File word in menu in Spanish File Explorer in Windows?

Note that there are two different words in 7-Zip:
Files:
Archives:
These are 2 different things.
- files are 1.txt, 2.pdf and so on.
- archives are a.7z, a.zip and so on
We do not want that both these different words to be translated to one word Archivosas in your file.

yes, I have Spanish Windows, and File menu in Spanish Windows (and many other softwares in Spanish) is translated as "Archivo".

btw, "file" and "archive" are synonyms in Spanish, unless you are talking about a place to store several files in plural, then could be called: "archivador", "archivero", "clasificador" or "carpeta".

so, I guess only the compressed files should be translated as "ficheros" or something similar, according to your review?

There is internal zip program in windows.
So you can try to look there what exact words they use for words like file or archive.
Note that we have different things in 7-Zip:
1) Files: short string instead of long "the number of files in folder" or "the number of processed files inside archive"
2) Archives: short string instead of long "number of archive files that were processed", for example, if we select 10 zip archives, and test all of them as on operation, we have Archives: 10.
But that string can be long, because we don't use "Archives:" in column header.

We want short "Files" word because it's used in list column, and we want to see main word in header even if column width is small.

I suppose previous Spanish translators also thought about that problem.
And maybe there is difference in dialects of Spanish?
