Perhaps I should be using Windows screenshots, since more Java Developers are probably using Windows. I'll try to do a quick Director/Schockwave project this weekend, animating dragging some things from the toolbar, etc to create a quick hello world. I don't think it would be as easy to capture the simplicity of Microbrew in html alone but, as always, comments welcome. >From Scott: >Are you opening up an avenue for Novell to claim copyright infringement? I made the screenshots when we thought the source would open up. I think maybe if we are careful with the wording, we might be okay. "The members of the serious project loved how easily applications could be built using Microbrew. This legendary ease of use will also be the basis for the Serious Project." As an aside, did Novell also buy the rights to the name Serious when they purchased Serious Programmer (or whatever it was called)? The MacOS/Windows debate shows that maybe its okay to borrow a paradigm, but I'm not sure if we can borrow the name... Thanks, jim |
