[Semediawiki-user] inheritance-based notification?

I'd like to be able to set up relationships from given pages
to other, more general pages, then register notification
requests for all pages that have this relationship.

So, for example, I might say that a page "isa" instance or
sub-class of a particular topic, then request notification
when any page that is an instance of the topic is modified.

Seems like a useful application of SMW technology...
