Hi all, It's June, which means that there's a new Semantic MediaWiki wiki of the month: this month it's saveMLAK, a Japanese wiki devoted to cataloging damage done to libraries, museums and other such institutions in Japan by the Japanese earthquake and tsunami: http://semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/SaveMLAK This selection seems to be getting a certain amount of buzz - that page has already gotten over 250 views in its first 12 hours of existence, which is about 10 times the usual rate. You can see the actual wiki here - as you might expect, it's in Japanese: http://savemlak.jp/ ...although the front page is also available in English: http://savemlak.jp/wiki/saveMLAK/en?lang=en&uselang=en And as always, we're looking for additional sites to be wiki of the month in upcoming months. We're especially looking for private, internal wikis - we have yet to feature one, and it's about time. But all entrants are welcome. To nominate your wiki, just follow the instructions here: http://semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/Wiki_of_the_Month#Nominate -Yaron |
