wow. show on select looks to be exactly what i want.... at first glance. i'll look into it. thanks! i don't suppose it lets you add certain templates to the form depending upon what is selected? i keep going back to a conditional select in combination with something like schematic schemas that would automatically add the inherited pieces of forms. but in this case "show on select" could be used to determine who the child is and "select" the correct form for the child below the parent. as you can tell i'm still trying to absorb all the existing information for SF thanks again, yaron ___________________________ "The plural of anecdote is not fact."
