Hi all, Version 0.3 of Semantic Forms Inputs has been released. I'm not actually the author of Semantic Forms Inputs, but I'm announcing this release specifically because Sanyam Goyal and I are responsible for it - we made a bunch of changes in this version, as part of Sanyam's Google Summer of Code project (all done with the blessings of Stephan Gambke, the main author). The main changes in this version are: - a new input type, 'simpledatepicker', was added. This is a date picker input that uses jQuery and jQuery UI - it actually uses Javascript files from Semantic Forms, so the latest version of SF, 2.0, is needed for this input to work. - the 'combobox' input type was removed, since Semantic Forms now has a combobox input type of its own. - there were a set of PHP changes to get SFI to conform more to standard MediaWiki conventions. - the code itself was moved from Google Code hosting to the Wikimedia SVN repository, which will make translation possible, and generally make it easier to modify the code. This will also enable SFI to get added to the Semantic Bundle, since SB can only use extensions that are on the standard SVN repository. The one piece of bad news is that the old date picker input, 'datepicker', which uses the YUI library, currently no longer works - this may get fixed soon, though.
