No. Quite simply a not in category has never been implemented, and is very unlikely to ever be implemented. Trying to go and query for something "not" being inside of a category would basically require scanning the entire database category table for every last single page on the wiki, then going through and removing any that are part of the category. It's an unreasonably inefficient task that could slow down the entire wiki. ~Daniel Friesen (Dantman, Nadir-Seen-Fire) -Nadir-Point (http://nadir-point.com) -Wiki-Tools (http://wiki-tools.com) -MonkeyScript (http://monkeyscript.nadir-point.com) -Animepedia (http://anime.wikia.com) -Narutopedia (http://naruto.wikia.com) -Soul Eater Wiki (http://souleater.wikia.com) Felix Kratzer wrote: > Hi everybody, > > > > I want to use the NOT-Operator with categories, but it does NOT seem to work > ;-( > > > > works fine (showing all pages > that are in Category Test) > > does NOT return ANY page > (also it should bring some pages that are in Category:xyz) > > > > Is there ANY workaround for that? > > > > FEZ > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > > Felix Kratzer > > Projektleiter > > > > pi-consult gmbh > > Haid-und-Neu-Straße 7 > > 76131 Karlsruhe > > > > Telefon: +49 (721) 2012 519-28 > > Telefax: +49 (721) 2012 519-98 > > E-Mail: fel...@br... > > > > www.pi-consult.de > > www.brandmaker.com > > > > Registergericht: Mannheim, HRB 109435 > > Geschäftsführung: Mirko Holzer, Sven Schäfer > > ------------------------------------------------------- > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > This SF.net email is sponsored by: > SourcForge Community > SourceForge wants to tell your story. > http://p.sf.net/sfu/sf-spreadtheword |
