It is characterized by a strong=20 focus on communities where people share experiences,=20 information and knowledge, meet and discuss, or do=20 business together. Knowledge management systems focus on knowledge and=20 experience sharing. They enhance organization capabilities=20 by externalizing knowledge of its employees and combine=20 them in novel forms. Therefore, there is a common interest=20 in social structures as well as social computing in both=20 fields. The social web can be the common underlying platform=20 for novel and web-based knowledge management systems. It=20 breaks up rigid processes and enables much richer interaction=20 possibilities and creativity. In this workshop we will bring=20 together people from the areas of social web technologies,=20 semantic systems, and knowledge management. We would like=20 to study synergies between social computing, social web,=20 semantic systems, and knowledge management and provide a look=20 at the current state of the art in the area. Programme: To ensure a creative atmosphere during the workshop, the=20 presenters will be selected based on their submitted papers=20 and demonstrations. In order to obtain an intensive exchange=20 of ideas between the participants, enough time for discussion=20 will be ensured.=20 A programme will be published at the workshop web site upon=20 notification of the authors and receiving the camera ready=20 versions of the submissions.
