thanks for the introduction. More about myself below. Maybe some
famous members of the core Seeks team will choose to introduce
themselves as a follow up :)

I've been a CS researcher for about ten years, before leaving the
protective shell of various labs, and dedicating more time to free
software, Seeks, machine learning and other tricks. I did start Seeks
a couple of years ago, volunteering two weeks a month to the
project. More recently, having consumed my initial resources, I've
started, with others, a small company centered on servicing Seeks and
related technologies to businesses and public institutions.

Your quiet work has been very useful, especially because these
competences were missing in our little community.

I'll share my thoughts in the dedicated thread. I hope others will do

I live with my girlfriend in Toulouse, France. I've been living in
various places before that, including San Francisco, and Bremen
(Germany). We have a white supersized cat named Loukoum (after the
middle-eastern pastry).

Sorry to hear you were hit by Irene. My parent's house was
flooded by the sea during the Xynthia storm
( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xynthia_(storm) ) eighteen months ago,
and I can still feel the pain and the terrible smell of muddy books
and rotten wood when I write about it.
Hope things will get back to normal shortly for your wife and yourself.
