Perhaps but isn’t L3V2 pretty set at this point. Isn’t this more of an information session? It’s up to you. I’m not sure we will keep the arrays breakout. Ha! The L3v2 session should probably come at the beginning of the week, since I anticipate/hope there'll be followup discussion for the rest of the conference. Maybe that'll just be a good time to catch up with the SED-ML group, since that session should *also* probably come near the beginning of the week, for the same reason. Unfortunately, Herbert ran out of funding for me, so I only have volunteer time to work on Antimony at this point, which is going to mostly have to focus on bugfixing or updating to new OS versions, etc. Maybe someday! It's the same reason I've had zero time to work on anything SED-ML related, too, unfortunately. -Lucian On Fri, Aug 26, 2016 at 9:49 PM, Chris Myers <my...@ec...> wrote: > You could swap SBML L3V2 into the slot currently with SBML > Arrays/Dynamic. You could swap SBML L3V2 into the slot currently with SBML Arrays/Dynamic. We can cancel that session as it was mostly going to be another attempt to convince you to hack it into Antimony :-). I'm not sure if there's a good way to fix this, but currently, both SBML L3v2 and SED-ML L1v3 sessions are happening at the same time on Tuesday. If possible, I would have liked to attend both, but I can catch up later with the SED-ML group if need be. -Lucian On Tue, Aug 23, 2016 at 1:59 PM, Paolo Zuliani < pao...@ne...> wrote: > Dear all, > > The DRAFT agenda is available here http://co.mbine.org/events/ > COMBINE_2016/agenda > > Tomorrow I'll set the delegate page up. > > Thanks, > Paolo > > >-----Original Message----- > >From: Chris Myers [mailto:my...@ec...] > >Sent: 22 August 2016 16:45 > >To: Paolo Zuliani > >Cc: All SBML Editors past and present; The SBGN Editors internal mailing > list; > >Anil Wipat; Robert Sidney Cox III; com...@go...; sbol- > >ed...@go...; sed...@li... > >Subject: Re: [all-sbml-editors] COMBINE 2016 draft schedule > > > >Thanks. Hi all, Just to let you know that I think it should be fine for non-members to post directly to the SED-ML editors list without needing moderation. I think I have just changed this setting in the SF.net mailing list configuration jungle. If we suddenly get flooded with spam, then we'll have to try something different. Also, just checking who will be at COMBINE next month? Will it be worth trying to organise an editors meeting at some point? Cheers, David. |

Hi all, I am with Chris, and I would prefer that comments were sent to me, Anil and the COMBINE coordinators. I’ll put the schedule up the COMBINE website asap. The DataDescription (2.4.1), DataSource (2.4.2), and Slice (2.4.3) sections (and related changes elsewhere) are all new in L1V3 - the ability to link to data is the main change in L1V3. I haven't had a chance to check, but hopefully that work is in the sourceforge SVN - the draft PDF is up at http://co.mbine.org/specifications/sed-ml.level-1.version-3-draft-1.pdf. I'm more than happy for you to go through the spec incorporating proposed and agreed changes :) Cheers, David. |

So, I've been doing some poking around, and found that the draft l1v3 spec is (or, at least, *was*) at https://sourceforge.net/p/sed-ml/code/HEAD/tree/sed-ml/specification/trunk/level-1/version-3/ However, there doesn't seem to be much (if anything?) there that has yet changed from l1v2. Also, there are tracker items up at https://sourceforge.net/p/sed-ml/sed-ml-l1v2/ Some of them have comments and others don't--one thing I found was that there seemed to be universal acceptance of a proposal to put 'id' and 'name' as optional attributes on SedBase; this isn't reflected in the l1v3 spec, for example. Would anyone mind if I went through the spec and took a stab at updating the UML and incorporating the proposed-and-agreed-to changes? -Lucian |

Hi all, To start addressing Lucian's question, I have just shared a google doc with you all which describes the process by which I just updated the website. Fingers crossed I didn't bust anything :) Hopefully this will encourage us to try and keep the website more up-to-date. I'm also wondering if it might be better to replace the "News" section on the front page with a twitter widget and then create a SED-ML twitter account - at least then we might get updates more often...any thoughts? I have also added Lucian as an administrator of the SourceForge SEd-ML project, so you should have full access Lucian - let me know if I got the wrong user! Next, we should probably schedule a conference call soon and work out where we are in terms of the spec. HARMONY isn't until June this year (in Auckland), so there is quite a while till there might be a few of us in one location. Cheers, David.
