    Hi guys,

I have run ScrollOutF1 for some time now but recently found ouy that I lost a lot of emails before they were even allowed into the system, emails that I really wanted but they were denied with a status to sender that it was not trustworthy or something lika that, never saw one of those replies IRL.

However, after in panic adjusting down the levels for "Connection Filter" and "Rate Limit In" I started to receive the emails I liked to but also like roughly 100 other spam messages per hour or so. The problem with the spam messages is that they look all legit, the url's included match the sender email address, they have proper spf records, everything looks just fine but they are still spam.

My thought is that I am not alone with this problem, anyone that like to share there settings that they have found to work well in the crappy environment of todays Internet. It was better in the 80's, right?

    Have a really nice afternoon,
    Anders

    Hello Anders,
I have the same configuration for the "rate limit in" but not for the "connection filter rules"
Have you setup particular settings under route section -> quarantine ? for me 5.5 to 7 and block at 999. Just to be sure to trap all spam and verify.
i ve seen your first capture, and you config is very restictive i m on all section between 5 an 6 to avoid this kind of issue.
    Maybe i m wrong ? ;-)

    have a nice day
    Max

    Hi Max,

Actually tried to back off from the most aggressive settings based on your suggestions and for some reason the behaviour seem to be ok now.. I have also just set up the quarantine for some of my domains, will see how that turns out.

    Thanks,
    Anders
