I've installed Scrollout F1 and am testing - can't seem to get it to deliver to our mail server. It is installed in our datacentre and the mail server is on our network - have verified that connectivity exists between the two using telnet on port 25 - works as expected.
The logs show the following:
Nov 11 13:41:18 mta postfix/smtpd[2793]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from mail-vb0-f42.google.com[209.85.212.42]: 550 5.1.1 recipient@receivedomain.com: Recipient address rejected: undeliverable address: host 31.1.1.2[31.1.1.2] said: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for recipient@receivedomain.com (in reply to RCPT TO command); from=sender@gmail.com to=recipient@receivedomain.com proto=ESMTP helo=mail-vb0-f42.google.com
(names changed to protect the innocent ;-)
I have set up the inbound routing to go straight to the IP of our mail server - but this doesn't appear to work. Also using tcpdump I have monitored what happens when these mails are bounced and it does not appear to attempt to contact our mail server before bouncing the email.
Any help would be very gratefully received, thanks in advance
George

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
The rejection is from your email server. It rejects emails from Scrollout. "... host 31.1.1.2[31.1.1.2] said: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for recipient@receivedomain.com ..."
Most probably you have some security settings in your email server (31.1.1.2) which prevents Scrollout to deliver emails such as the one mentioned in the error: from @gmail.com.
You must set your email server to allow/trust Scrollout host. Search in the documentation of your email server or google it.

I currently have a similar problem wih 2 domains in my CPanel/WHM server, however I also have 2 other domains in the same server that can receive messages without problems :\
Any suggestion?
BTW: I have added the IP of my scrollout server in the trusted IP list.

I had this issue and I found out my ISP's mail service doesn't support receiving email in this way ... (HeartInternet)

Clear the cache in Scrollout - it stores the replied SMTPs errors from the server.
Click on CACHE (hidden on top of GUI)
It didn´t work :(
I am currently working with both my hosting and CPanel support without much success :(
