I thought it was a shared library, do you still need to link against it?
(Reminder: I am not a Mac programmer - no flames please :-)

Anyway, I agree - no idea why it would require Carbon all of a sudden. Maybe
something in CW6 or PP2.1 requires it? Anyone know?

For now, I'll add a note that installing Carbon may help.
