I meant if one exile is named (say) ABC and another ABCD, some log entries in ABC's logs that were caused by ABCD doing things (like finding items) were counted for exile ABC by mistake before 0.1.2. I just put it in because it was easy, and I wanted some feedback on the idea. Mission accomplished. >> - fixed several scanning bugs for border-case timestamps > seems much better time for my test case, good. For mine, too. >> - now counting total clanning times > that is the nastiest information i have ever seen in Scribia. You trying to > put HWC for Geotzou into depression? Scribus counts it, too. And it overcounts (doesn't subtract disconnected times in a log), so your depression should be less compared with Scribus. :-) >> - no longer mistakenly scanning some exile-generated text > no clue. Before, I'd count \action and \narrate lines that contained things like "Lark finds a longbow." by mistake. >> - counting coins given to and received from other exiles (this does not >> yet include coins exchanged during buys/sells!) > no use for it, but not bad. Again, Scribus counts it, so I'm trying to make Scribia count it. >> - applied Bones CW6 mods to the sources > good move. There are some additional files that the CW6 project needs, so we will need a second XLM project file. I'd really, really like the sources to compile under both versions though, using #ifdefs if all else fails. >> - only trying to scan 'TEXT' files now > (!). I know :-) Good thing random binary files seldom match CL log strings... > This said, I am still unable to commit a file right now. Is this normal or > should I be able? (I haven't tried meaningful change, just testing a commit > that always return > cvs [server aborted]: "commit" requires write access to the repository Are you using a tree checked out as yourself (i.e. not anoncvs)? If you use MacCVS 3.1, look at the "Root" file in any "CVS" directory in your local tree. Does it contain something like this -> :pserver:la...@cv...:/cvsroot/scribia The thing to look for is your username between ":pserver:" and "@". If it does, maybe try to log in again? Otherwise, I'm clueless... -- Lark <lar...@un...> |
