For old skins and bounties, easiest thing would probably be to add the coins that the character received to current total fur or bounty and one's share of each. It will distort the percentage of the total one received a little, but its not as bad as if nothing was added to the total skin and over time that number will become fairly insignificant in relation to the newer skins. Also, I think the money from skins should be separate from bounties. Then they can be listed separately and totaled for the user to see. It'll give a bit more feed back as to where a person's funds are coming from. Could also list chests separately as a third item. Here's the lines for skins and bounties from May 1999 incase you don't have them: 5/24/99 4:55:11p Your share in the Hooded Corpse's bounty is 1 coin. 5/24/99 4:23:20p Your share in the Young Rockodile's scales is 1 coin. 5/24/99 4:29:46p Your share in the Feral's fur is 2 coins. Cutting those messages, I also noticed that actions were different back then if we ever put in a talk parser like scribus has. they looked like this then: 5/24/99 5:10:00p \Action: Wrath lags. -- Brad (aka Cygnus) cy...@po... _________________________________________________________________ Oh the words that he spoke Seemed the wisest of philosophies There's nothing ever gained By a wet thing called a tear When the world is too dark And I need the light inside of me I'll walk into a bar And drink fifteen pints of beer - Shane MacGowen |
