Hello,
I have a DGT Pegasus Bluetooth board. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with either Scid or Scid vs. PC. This is extremely frustrating and annoying. When I click "OK," I get a message stating that the position is incorrect, even though I have verified that the pieces are correctly placed physically—I even tried swapping some of them around. Also, when I click the "Setup" button, the configuration window closes. In short, could you please do whatever is necessary to get it working? I am aware of the time the developers invest in the Scid and Scid vs. PC projects, and I would like to thank them for what they do for us—whether we are professional or amateur players. Many thanks. Screenshots are attached.
I spoke to Graham (board engine author) and he reckons
"I'm using a Pegasus in SCIDvsPC now and it's working fine. To have a problem recognising pieces means it's likely a hardware or communication issue. ... More likely is either a faulty board or interference. eBoards sometimes don't like being near metal (eg metal tables) or other objects that might interfere. Also, depending on his PC/BT adapter he might have the board too far away. I did have somebody with that problem once as their USB BT device wasn't very powerful".
He reckons the Setup bug is probably real, and he might get around to releasing new drivers shortly.
