SciDAVis Bugs item #2813674, was opened at 2009-06-29 00:10 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by dermanu You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=968214&aid=2813674&group_id=199120 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: DerManu (dermanu) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Corrupt save files without warning/error Initial Comment: When saving projects under certain conditions, the files are corrupt. More precise: when you close Scidavis and try to open the previously saved files, all the data in the tables is lost (they just show the fixed rows and everything else is blank white) and the plots are empty. Strange enough this hasn't happened before, but I can safely reproduce it with the attached data. Reproduce like this: - Start Scidavis 0.2.2 - Import attached CSV data via "Import ascii..." (Options: Separator=Tab; Use first row to name columns; Format: 1,000.0) - Rightclick on Column four ("D0-D7") --> Plot --> Line - File --> Save Project As... --> "blubb.sciprj" - Close Scidavis - Start Scidavis - File --> Open --> "blubb.sciprj" There you go... all gone. *cry* Since I consider this Bug extremely dangerous (you can work and save for hours without getting error messages or any warning just to notice in the end, all save files are corrupt), I will set it to a high priority. I hope you don't mind. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=968214&aid=2813674&group_id=199120 |
