Index compressed files and archives

(This may already be supplied by some library. I don't know.) I would install this, despite its heavy dependency set (I don't have any web-server-related stuff installed; I think the only dependency I *do* have installed is Java itself), but nearly all the files on my computer I would want it to index are either locked up in tarballs and other archives or compressed themselves. Having it able to find and index them would move this program from a wishlist item (if-it-would-only) firmly into the install-ASAP column.

Actually, indexing archived content is not a big deal, but the problem is how to address the documents inside archives. Current design needs URLs as a sort of primary keys for indexed documents but archived items have no their own URLs.
