I install the tagcluster plugin. However I do not see how to use it and its pupose. I go to plugins management and click on unistall. I restart the programme, but the tagcluster and its icon are again there.

Your OS, platform and JRE version?

Did you get any error messages during plugin install and uninstall?

Is there any console output on clicking Uninstall? (please, post it here)

    W7 (x64)
    JRE 6
    No error messages
I click on uninstall and then it goes: The plugin will be uninstalled when SCAN is restarted

You might find the plugin confusing because of this bug:
    https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2873038&group_id=189359&atid=929010

But uninstall problem is another story. I can only guess it's a file security issue in W7, so check write permissions in the 'plugins' folder of SCAN installation. It would be great to see if there are any console output to be sure. If you can, please start SCAN with 'scan.bat' file and check what it writes in the console window on plugin uninstall.

Is this issue a TagClusters plugin-specific? Do you have problems with uninstalling other plugins as well?

FYI, as a workaround, you can unistall a plugin manually, simply by deleting its subfolder (e.g., "scan-tagclusters-plugin-***") from "plugins" (close SCAN before doing this).
