Hi,

I've added some examples to the mathematical formulas section to help explain the requirements for vector and selector.  Let me know what you think.  I've also updated the examples (4.2 and 4.4) as requested.  Finally, I've updated 4.3 to use piecewise as it could be simplified even though it was not technically invalid.  

The changes are checked in and attached.
