as you are aware,  we are currently working to generate a standardized
description of datasets [1], which incorporates the needs of several
communities (HCLS, BioDBCore, Bio2RDF, OpenPhacts, identifiers.org,
integbio). Our work will extend that of openphacts's dataset description
[2], along with their editor  [3] and validator. We would be interested in
hearing about the fields that you want to collect information on!
