I am agreeing with you that the latest version of SAX2 should be
included in xerces.  I was just mentioning other people's reservations
about doing so.  They may have changed their mind since.  I think w/
apache projects in particular there needs to be someone to go and
actually do the work.

OK, I'm not sure whether they will want a specific release or not.  I'll
see if I can get this done for the next release of parser software.
