The 'SpamAssassin' button which has bee added to Outlook's menu always searches the Inbox.
It would be nice if it could search the currently selected folder instead (similar to the F3/search feature).

I have implemented this functionality in my personal version. If a new release is issued, I will try and get the function added into it.
