a) The attributes should be displayed if the mouse
pointer is over an equipment item instead of clicking an
item.

b) After clicking an item the mouse pointer is connected
to the equipment item and I can move it around. This
behaviour should be limited, because when I press the
exit button the item it still connected with the mouse
pointer. The item should be put back in the inventory if
the mouse pointer is out of a certain region.

    a) This I will not decide, because it affects game
mechanics: the grabbing of an item does not only display the
attributes but does an appraise, which affects skills. -

    b) I cannot reproduce this, any attempt I tried leaving the
inventory put the active item back. Are you testing with
R18, and if so, what platform?

    Marion,

    a) My thought is: pick an item if you want to move it. And
highlight it if you want to see the item attributes or the
    appraised attributes.

    b) I'll look into the matter when I find some time. I'm coding
some Java stuff at the moment, so it may take some days.

I included a screenshot. For some strange reasons the mouse
pointer (white arrow) has disappeared there.

The screenshot shows how I left the equipment screen. I still
had the boots picked and then clicked the "Done" button. It
would be better to put the boots back where they were when
the mouse pointer is in the above the "Done" button.

I hope this was helpful for you.
