S7 Trends is a free and easy-to-use software to trace what is going on in Siemens PLC. You can watch & record in real time the state of all types of variables:
- Markers
- Inputs/Outputs
- Timers
- Counters
- Databases
It is written in C# and it is using Snap7 library. It should work also with S1200.
Current state is stable.

  • Thanks, this is a nice simple program and it does what it is designed to do. A feature that I could really use would be the ability to trigger logging based on a variable from the PLC. For example if DB100.DBX1.1 is = 1 then record the value in DB111.DBD111.
