Hi, On 8/21/06, RxLib updates <rxl...@li...> wrote: > Could someone tell me how I can or from where I can find the components for borland development studio c++ 2006? Unfortunately I have no experience with using rxlib under C++. The sources in the SVN repository currently work with BDS 2006 and Delphi Win32. Maybe they just work with the C++ personality as well? Please try it and let me know. If there are any problems that you can solve, please do so and send me patches. regards twm |

Im really interested in Updates of RXLib-Source. It is an excellent = Library. Let me here about futher releases and the locations where it can be = downloaded. I allready made changes by myselfe. For example to allow dropping a = TFromstorage-Component on a TFrame (Not on a Frame-Instancen which is = docked to a From but on a Frame-Template). Or set Switches for the Mode = the InifileName is composed. best regards=20 Michael Jaeckle -----Urspr=FCngliche Nachricht----- Von: rxl...@li... Betreff: [Rxlib-news] new administrator / maintenance mode Hi, I have asked sourceforge to be made administrator of this project because it seems rather inactive and I could not contact Scott Blood. They did that at the end of June but never told me about it, so I only found out today by pure chance. What I want to do is this: * Put the project into maintenance mode, that is it will no longer be actively developed. Only bugfixes and changes necessary to update to newer Delphi versions will be done. Since most of the rxlib components have been added to the JVCL I don't really see any point in continuing development, but I am probably not the only one who still uses it in his projects, so dropping it all together is not an option. * Put the latest sources into the subversion repository on sourceforge (apparently neither the CVS nor the subversion repository contains any code. * Drop support for Delphi 1 by renaming all units to rx*. Users of Delphi 1 - if there are any left - can still use the old sources. Users of Delphi >6 will already have noticed that there are name conflicts with existing Delphi units, e.g. StrUtils. Adding a prefix will fix that problem once and for all. Since I apparently cannot modify the mailing lists, I will either have to live with that and continue using the one that is there (I hope it hasn't devolved into a spam tool yet) or try and add a new one (once I have figured out the sf.net interface for that). I would like to hear from you if you are still interested in rxlib. regards Thomas Mueller -------------------------------------------------------------------------= Using Tomcat but need to do more? The SGB Software monthly update news letter #1 Well this month has been a very strong and very long month for all of us here at SGB Software. We recently completed a conversion of the Rx Library to C Builder 6 and also started work on converting the library for other languages such as Java and Visual Basic (What a task this is going to be). We have had an over whelming response on our website and personal wishes of thanks for our continued work with the Rx Library. At the time of writing this letter we had over 80,000 hits on our website since Christmas which is excellent. The more visitors we get the more interest we can stir up from possible investors or advertisers. ***Server Update*** We have just acquired 2 new rack mounted hosting servers for use on our website and will be changing from our current hosting provider to our new provider who are based much closer to home in the central of London. These servers increase our bandwidth from 2GB a month to 8GB a month which means we can now start hosting our downloads locally. This however, will mean that our servers will be shut down from Saturday the 19th April till the following Monday, 21st April to allow our IP Tags to propagate the internet. We apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. DONATIONS Over the past 2 months we have received cheque payments and requests to send payments to us for the use of the Rx Library. We must emphasise to everyone that the Library is FREE, which means no payment is necessary for anything :). However, a number of people have suggested we donate this money to a selected charity. We have decided we will send this to the Royal Manchester Children's hospital for sick children. Does anyone think it would be a good idea to set up a donation account for others to make donations if they so wish. Email <mailto:sc...@sg...> us with your ideas or suggestions good or bad. Well that's really all the news for now, just remember the source forge project is always available. From there you can download the most recent sources to the Rx Library. The address to the source forge project is www.sourceforge.net and our group ID is 40944. Kindest Regards SGB Software Support |

Hello, Over the coming weeks we will be adding various fixes for the Rx Library to the source forge website. We would ask that anyone who has there own personal fixes or has acquired a bug fix for the library to either e-mail it to RxLib@SGBSoftware.com or add it to the bugs section on the sourceforge website (www.sourceforge.net). If you do send in a bug fix could you please indicate which platforms this has been tested on, I.e. Delphi versions and windows versions. Kindest Regards Scott Blood www.sgbsoftware.com |

Dear user, We are pleased to announce that you can now download an official version of the Rx Library for Delphi 6 from the Source Forge website. Alternatively you can click here http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/rxlib/setup.exe. If you have any problems downloading the file from Source Forge, you will also find a copy of it on the Torry.net website. Kindest Regards Scott Blood www.sgbsoftware.com |

Hello, We at SGB Software are pleased to announce the introduction of our new web site. We have been working hard over the last month to improve our presence on the web and to make it easier to find the information you want. Over the coming weeks we will be adding more and more features and information to the site. The development of Rx Lib was temporarily suspended due to some licensing issues. However , we are able to announce that the development has now been restarted and we will be releasing an official version for Delphi 6 within the coming weeks. We would like again to stress how important it is that you get involved in the ongoing development of Rx Library. If you think you can offer new components, development time, language translations or anything that would benefit the continued development please contact us at RxLib@SGBSoftware.com or use the forums on Source Forge. Regards and best wishes Scott Blood (Managing Director) www.sgbsoftware.com |
