Hi Shachar, Your latest version of the MSI package is not generating the error "rsyncrypto.exe - Unable To Locate Component" anymore. So it looks like your work around is working correctly. Unfortunately I still have my original error message in my test scenario as reported a couple of months ago. For your convenience I will describe this test scenario again. ==== BEGIN TEST SCENARIO ==== 1) I installed rsyncrypto in d:\test\rsyncrypto 2) Encrypted files are in D:\test\EncFiles (only one file there now) 3) Clear files should come in c:\test\ClearFiles (directory does exists) My current working directory is c:\ I execute the following command: C:\>"d:\test\rsyncrypto\rsyncrypto.exe" -d "D:\test\EncFiles\routers pass.txt" "c:\test\ClearFiles\routers pass.txt" "D:\test\Keys\routers pass.txt" "D:\test\Certificate\cert.key" mkdir failed(c:): Input/output error Rsyncrypto bails out, not creating the clear text file (logical since it encountered an error). But if I do a "cd test" and execute is again: C:\>cd test C:\test>"d:\test\rsyncrypto\rsyncrypto.exe" -d "D:\test\EncFiles\routers pass.txt" "c:\test\ClearFiles\routers pass.txt" "D:\test\Keys\routers pass.txt" "D:\test\Certificate\cert.key" C:\test> It Works perfectly. The file is decrypted and now available in "c:\test\ClearFiles" ==== END TEST SCENARIO ==== Sorry to keep you bothering with this issue. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." > Yes. This appears to be a bug in the Visual Studio 9 setup generation. The MSI will only install that library if the program is installed to its default location.... I have worked around that problem and the Sourceforge site now has a new MSI that fixes that problem. Please test and let me know. Does anyone know where do you file bug reports with Microsoft?
