What is the point of having a metronome in a destructive editor (i.e. not a non-destructive editor like ardour or audacity, etc)? Also the project you cite supports jack, as does rezound (though not all that well)

This is for when rezound gets a non-destructive editor window similar to adobe audition not to it too mutch being that it's all ready in gtk
