This feature may not be worth the time for you to put it in, but it would be cool for the game people are making (including me) could add a beginning movie to it like our logos and so forth. My suggestion is for you to use OGG Theora for the movies. Put a line in the Episode editor allowing people to point to the file.
This is just a thought, I would code it myself, but I'm still a beginner level programmer in C++ and haven't gotten that good yet.
Yes it would be a 'nice to have' feature, if someone was to do the code for it then I'd put it in but I can't see me ever getting time to do it myself. It's not just the coding but also the learning curve of rendering movies and whether the rendering would work with OpenGL or not.
Good point. Sorry about that. I'm always coming up with hard ideas that don't seem hard to start with.
