Long a supporter of RealTerm which is my GoTo for anything comms related, I have been experiencing a few problems which are solved by simply switching to (gasp) Terra Term and/or Tiny Term. (TinyTerm is now available from the Windows store.) Although I have tried to be concientious about gathering diagnostic info for proper analysis, the demands of solving customer problems makes that difficult.

I am running Win10 64 with Version 1903 which was a huge behind-the-scenes technical upgrade and I am wondering if RealTerm needs a general requalification? As a new update has not been released in some time, is it a question of the expense of new licenses or testing by Microsoft? If so, perhaps I can help with that as I depend upon RealTerm to do my work.

PS: Right now, I am in the process of installing V1909 and am worried how much grief that will cause me for the rest of 2019!

Peace,

    I am now on V1909.
The problems were intermittant but consistantly did not happen using TerraTerm and TinyTerm.
None of the projects involved anything exotic or high speed.
Do you have a system for stress testing?
It would be great if you could full qualify RealTerm under Win10 2020.

    Peace,

This post is completely worthless. I'm not going to tell you why it's worthless, you'll just have to guess.
