Hi - A simple question - I have tried to clear the screen from a uP connected to the serial port using umpteen different commands but no joy.
Any ideas?
I am on holiday at the moment and I dont have a password. Can you put my
thanks up on the site.
Thanks
Chris

COMMENT:
You need to use ANSI/VT100 DisplayAs mode.
It is the only one that has terminal control codes.
FF (FormFeed) will (^L, 0x0C) will clear screen, as will
Erase Screen <ESC>[2J
ASCII mode displays ALL 256 chars, so obviously it can't clear the
screen on FF
